Iranian box office top films revealed

Latest sales figures for Iran movies on the big screen for this week have been released with ‘Sperm Whale 2’, topping Iran box office.

According to Iran film distribution managers, for this week, three films have concluded their first week on screen including ‘Subdued’ which achieved remarkable success.

Gaining first spot this week, ‘Sperm Whale 2’ by Saman Moghadam is a chart topper with overall sales amounting to upwards of 130 billion rials.

Opening this week across Iranian movie theaters, ‘Subdued’ by Hamid Nematollah took second spot.

In third and fourth position came ‘Under the Smoky Roof’ by Pouran Derakhshandeh and ‘My Brother Khosrow’ by Ehsan Biglari respectively.

‘Atom Heart Mother’ by Ali Ahmadzade came fifth for this week.
